Your Personal Medicare
and Health Insurance Agency
A Local Team You Can Trust
At TL&P Insurance Services, being local means more than just having an office nearby—it means building real relationships with the people we serve. Because we live and work in the same communities as our clients, we understand your needs, concerns, and priorities. You will never be routed through a call center or speak to someone unfamiliar with your situation. Instead, you will work directly with a licensed insurance agent who is committed to your well-being.
As a local insurance agency, we understand the communities we serve because we live and work here too. We’re not a call center or a national hotline—you’ll always speak with a licensed agent who knows your area and is invested in your well-being. From your first question to ongoing support after enrollment, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
We take pride in being accessible, responsive, and dependable whenever you need us.

Meet the Team
Teri Patterson
I lost my hearing in my 20s, which introduced me to the Deaf community and ASL. After getting cochlear implants in 2011, I can hear well enough to speak on the phone, though ASL remains central in my life. In 2020, I faced another challenge with sudden vision loss that required cataract surgery. These experiences give me a unique perspective when supporting both the Deaf and hearing Medicare communities. I truly value building friendships and providing ongoing support to my members.
Phil Patterson
Born and raised in North Carolina, I understand the needs of my neighbors. When I met Teri, she was Deaf, and we communicated only through ASL—an experience that gives me a unique perspective on serving the Deaf community. Since 2018, I’ve been providing Medicare insurance services alongside my wife.
When it comes to health insurance, we’re more than agents—we’re your partners. As a husband-and-wife team, we put your needs first, helping you secure the right benefits at the best value.
We’ll guide you through your options step by step, making sure you understand your coverage and feel confident in your choices. Whether by phone, online, video, or in person, we’re here to support you in the way that works best for you.
Your agent isn’t just here for enrollment—you’ll have a personal point of contact year-round, ready to answer questions, explain benefits, and resolve concerns.
And the best part? Our personalized service comes at no extra cost to you.
